Just a driveway to a Lakeshore residence...or three.
This may be the 'other' driveway on the west side of the property.
So many large estates have been carved up and developed along the Lakeshore over the years. Like the Duke Estate in Burlington, which was inaccessible and wasn't photographed. Another estate I haven't revisited in 30 years - I believe it was called the Howard Estate. It was more likely in Oakville than in Burlington. There were three residences on this estate, at least. The six photo's above might all have been taken on that estate. There was enough land to play polo between these residences. It was romantic to think that at one time, somebody probably did.
