  1. This beautiful Gastsby-esque mansion was unparalleled with its orange tile roof. It was torn down to develop its large lot. Did it stand where aproximately 3066 Lakeshore Road is now? Dr. C.C. Hopmans, (Chief of Surgery at Joseph Brant during the 1970's) moved here from 496 Northshore Blvd E. Renting for a year or so he loved the 'thick walled' mansion so much that he began building its duplicate near Crieff Ontario.
